Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the corrigendum in Notification No.04/2013 dt.28.5.2013 (issued by the 2nd respondent published on 19.6.2013 in Tamil Daily Newspaper namely Dinadanthi}, quash the same and direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner work experience of the Assistant Professors for the purpose of awarding marks for experience as per the original notification.

The Teachers Recruitment Board is directed to clarify to the candidates by way of notification in the newspapers that during relevant period, the qualification mentioned above can be considered for awarding marks for teaching experience.

The writ petition is allowed to the extent indicated above. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
