Match Summary
The Inter collegiate Basketball Tournament for men and women in commemoration with MUTA XXII General Conference was held at V.O.Chidambaram College, Thoothukudi from August 8th to 10,2014. Thiru S. Selvan Rajadurai, Chief General Manager, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Limited inaugurated the tournament on 08-08-2014, in which nine men and ten women teams have participated. Dr.C.Veerabahu, Principal, VOC College and Dr.R.Murugesan Secretary, MUTA Zone III offered felicitations during the inauguration.
Thiru A.P.C.V.Chockalingam, Secretary, V.O.Chidambarm College, Thoothukudi gave the valedictory address and distributed the medals to the players of M.D.T.Hindu College (Men) and Fatima College (Women) teams emerged as winners of the tournament. Prof.S.Subburaj, General Secretary, MUTA felicitated the players and Dr.P.Sivagnanam, Convener of the tournament offered vote of thanks.
